Col. Benjamin De Guzman Totanes, Sr.
October 19, 1935 - January 22, 2004
Loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, friend, teacher and military officer. Dad passed away the morning of January 22nd, 2004 at 5:35AM at the Palm Haven Care Center in Manteca, CA USA. He passed away with dignity, and with family at his bedside. Please help us pray for his soul. "Eternal rest grant unto Benjamin Sr., O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen"
"I have come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little... But not too long
And not with your heads bowed low...
Remember the love that we all once shared
Miss me... but let me go."
Our heartfelt 'thank you' to all who offered prayers,
condolences, and support during our time of grief. Now, it is time to move
on and cherish all the memories Dad left behind. It is time to let him go,
but never forget his love and kindness. -- Mom Jean, Benju, Edgar, Melissa,
Christopher, Emily, Teena, Sean, Kristine and Erika.
